We’re expanding our leadership network and are seeking visionary Creative Directors to shape the identity, direction, and soul of our projects.

The Creative Director sits at the helm of a production’s artistic vision. This role is about more than oversight. It is about orchestration. You translate ideas into cohesive worlds, guide teams toward a unified tone, and ensure every frame, sound, and story beat feels intentional. From early concept to final delivery, you define the creative compass that everyone follows.

A strong candidate understands storytelling at a fundamental level and can bridge disciplines with ease. You can look at a script and see not just scenes, but rhythm, mood, and meaning. You guide storyboard artists, designers, animators, and composers with clarity, helping each department contribute to a singular vision. You know when to push boundaries and when to hold restraint. You are both architect and conductor.

You should be comfortable making high-level creative decisions while staying grounded in production realities. Whether refining visual language, aligning pacing, or ensuring emotional impact, your direction shapes how the audience experiences the story. Adaptability, leadership, and a sharp creative instinct are essential.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall creative vision and direction of projects
• Guide storytelling across writing, storyboarding, animation, and sound
• Collaborate closely with Directors, Writers, and Department Leads to ensure cohesion
• Oversee visual style, tone, pacing, and emotional delivery across episodes or productions
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to artists and creative teams
• Ensure consistency in world-building, character portrayal, and narrative themes
• Balance creative ambition with production timelines and constraints
• Review and approve key creative deliverables across all stages of production

• Proven experience in a Creative Director, Director, or equivalent senior creative role in animation, film, or related media
• Strong understanding of storytelling, cinematography, and visual language
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate a unified vision
• Deep knowledge of anime production pipelines and workflows
• Experience with storyboarding, animation, or visual development
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to adapt under production pressures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment
• Portfolio demonstrating creative leadership and high-level project involvement
• CSP (CLIP STUDIO PAINT knowledge)
