Employment Type: Freelance

Vilostudios is a global anime and manga production company focused on reimagining how the industry works. By bringing writing, design, animation, and sound into one unified pipeline, we build productions that are not only visually striking, but strategically executed from concept to completion.

We’re looking for experienced Animation Producers to help drive projects from pitch to production, connecting ideas with the right partners, teams, and resources to bring them to life.

The Animation Producer is both architect and dealmaker, shaping projects at their earliest stages and guiding them through execution. You’ll be responsible for pitching original and client-based projects, building compelling presentations, and securing collaborations with partners, studios, and stakeholders. Once a project is in motion, you ensure it is properly structured, staffed, and budgeted for success.

This role sits at the intersection of creativity and logistics. You understand what makes a project exciting, but also what makes it feasible. From assembling teams to mapping out production timelines, you turn vision into a working system. You’ll collaborate with other producers, directors, and department leads while managing large groups of creatives across different stages of production.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and pitch animation projects to partners, clients, and collaborators
  • Create strong pitch decks and presentation materials for internal and external use
  • Plan and map out production pipelines, timelines, and key milestones
  • Build and assign teams using both Vilostudios’ internal network and your own industry network to secure the best talent for each project
  • Collaborate with Directors, Creative Leads, and other Producers to align vision and execution
  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and overall production feasibility
  • Oversee multiple stages of production, ensuring projects stay on track creatively and financially
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth communication
  • Support project growth by identifying opportunities for partnerships and expansion
